MARGOT FRIEND, G.G. PRIVATE JEWELER

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. My love of the profession began in high school while working in retail jewelry. I realized my true passion for diamonds, gemstones and pearls and began advanced studies to become a graduate gemologist at the Gemological Institute of America. Upon completion of my studies in 1983, I traveled and lived in Europe, further developing my skills and knowledge of Gemology.

My career continued in the U.S. at Shreve & Co., one of the oldest and most trusted jewelers in the U.S. During my years at Shreve & Co., I established a discriminating clientele and developed my network of gem suppliers, importers and designers worldwide.

The combination of knowledge, experience, relationships, and enthusiastic desire to provide the finest products to my loyal clientele have contributed to the growth of my highly personal business for almost three decades. This has been exclusively the result of reputation. I now enjoy working with the second generation of my long-time customers as their family jeweler.

My greatest joy is to serve as a trusted consultant, guiding you through the exciting process of choosing the perfect piece for any special occasion - from engagement rings to anniversaries and all celebrations of life.
